A tiger killed a 32-year-old forest guard while he was on patrolling duty in the Kalagrah range of Corbett Tiger Reserve on Wednesday. The incident occurred in the Paterpani area where the tiger is said to have suddenly pounced on the guard, Pawan Kumar, leaving him profusely bleeding. He was rushed to a medical facility where he succumbed.
