A sergeant of Bangladesh Air Force was killed in a road accident in Noakhali Sadar upazila on Thursday (March 16).
The deceased was known as Anwar Hossain, 39, son of late Abul Kalam. He worked in Kurmitola cantonment in Dhaka.
Family sources said that the victim went to his native village taking seven days leave.
The accident happened in Ramkrishnapur village of Dadpur union of Sadar upazila this noon when he was riding a motorcycle. Later, he was taken to 250-bed Noakhali General Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
Sudharam Model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwarul Islam confirmed the matter.
