Security forces have killed three terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Sambaza area of Zhob District in Balochistan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the killed terrorists.
However, during intense exchange of fire, Major Babar Khan while fighting gallantly embraced martyrdom.
Security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts of sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has vowed to continue fight against terrorism till complete elimination of this scourge from the country.
Paying tribute to martyrdom of Major Babar Khan, the Prime Minister in a statement said he and whole nation is proud of the sacrifices of our valiant troops.
He said the troops of Pakistan Army killed the terrorists while displaying exemplary courage and valiance.
Shehbaz Sharif said troops and officers of Pakistan Army have rendered unmatchable sacrifices for security of the country and eradication of terrorism.
The Prime Minister prayed for high place of martyred Major Babar Khan in heaven and fortitude to his family members.
