India vs New Zealand, World Cup 2023: Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell Score 50s

New Zealand have lost both of their openers Devon Conway (0) and Will Young (17) after being put to bat by India captain Rohit Sharma at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium in Dharamsala.

Indian bowlers has been relentless with their lengths. Siraj drew the first blood with Iyer taking a stunner at square leg. Conway departed without scoring. Mohammed Shami, playing his first match of the World Cup, cleaned up Will Young with the first ball of his spell.

Hardik Pandya’s injury has forced India to make a couple of forced changes in their playing XI. Mohammed Shami is playing his first game of the World Cup, he replaces Shardul Thakur, while Suryakumar Yadav, who was hit on the hands on the eve of the match has replaced Hardik Pandya. Meanwhile, New Zealand are unchanged.
