Borivali police have arrested 17 Bangladeshi nationals for illegally entering India and the staying here using forged and bogus indentification documents.
The arrested accused also include an agent who was helping others illegally get documents to secure a VISA and stay in India.
Some of them have been arrested from Palghar district.
The arrested agent has been identified as Salman Khan (34). After his thorough interrogation police nabbed his accomplice Suman Sardar (31).
All the accused were produced in the court and were remanded in police custody till October 25.
